20 30 Minute Microlight Flight in WiltshireThis is a great introduction to microlighting and counts towards total flying hours should you decide to pursue this marvellous hobby. Fly serenely above the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, taking in the breathtaking views and the famous landmarks from a birds eye view. The instructors have hundreds of hours experience and are keen to pass on their flying knowledge. The school is regulated by the CAA and BMAA, so you can be sure of a safe and memorable experience. Location Swindon, Wiltshire South West Itinerary Upon arrival at the airfield you will be introduced to your flight instructor who will run a briefing session where you39ll learn about the aircraft and have the opportunity to ask any questions. Take a seat in the cockpit and get comfortable all equipment will be provided on the day. You39ll be wearing a headset so that you can talk over the intercom a helmet may be necessary depending on the microlight you choose to fly. The instructor will taxi the aircraft to the runway and run through the controls for your benefit. Once airborne, the control will be passed to you you are free to fly the aircraft for as long as you want within the lesson time. The instructor will land and then its off for a well deserved cup of tea. Extra Information Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person you are free to call the air school and book your experience using the details provided. You are welcome to bring family and friends to come and watch you fly. Minimum age is 10 years old, however under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Maximum weight is 16 stone. All equipment will be provided on the day. No previous flight experience is necessary. The experience is subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly. Flight time is around 20 minutes with 5 minutes39 taxiing.
